Film4 has caught up with 'Changeling' star Angelina Jolie. Jolie talks about coming to the story of Christine Collins, a tale that is truly stranger than fiction. She also shares how strange it is that the story had not been heard before the film, debating wether it could be a possible consipiracy. Jolie also shares what i was like to portray the character and how close it brought her to her own family. 'Changeling' is out in theathers.

"...I was so relieved to step away from this movie. I would have my kids there at lunch, and at the end of the day I was so happy I knew where they were, that they were safe. I wanted to just play all the time. During the filming I got pregnant, so by the end of it, I was one hundred percent focused on babies. When it started I wanted to get pregnant..."

Changeling Writer J. Michael Straczynski

Time has caught up with long time Marvel Comics writer and ‘Changeling’ writer J. Michael Straczynski. Straczynksi talks about what the film is about, and how much of it is true. Having a journalist background, the ‘Changeling’ writer shares how much of it came in handy when researching the film - particularly through the hours of City Hall archives to hospital records.  Straczynksi also touches on his past successes and writing for Marvel Comics.

“…I grew up on comics and cartoons. So, as an adult, I like comics and cartoons. My house looks like it was decorated by a 14-year old with a platinum American Express card. You should do what you enjoy doing, what brings you passion…”

She also shares about her connection to the character and bringing a physical and strong characteristic to the role. Jolie also touches on how sexy guns are and Brad Pitt. 'Changeling' is out in theaters October 31st.

"...obviously there's a part of me that takes the world of violence and death very seriously. However, when it comes to protection or when it comes to just the skill of shooting ... I've gone to the range with sniper rifles and things like that. Brad and I both like it a lot. That is something we have in common..."

The Dead Bolt has interviewed 'Changeling' director Clint Eastwood and star 'Angelina Jolie'. Eastwood talks about the mind-boggling amount of research and detail put into the film, which he describes as 'crude but idealistic'. Based in the early 30's, Angelina portrays the character of Christine Collins, a real life mother who fought the system for justice. The two go on to talk about why Angelina reminds Eastwood of Meryl Streep and the casting process in which they found eachother. 'Changeling' is out in theaters October 31st.
